Laura Forrester wins RBC art competition

flowerLaura Forrester, of Hunter River, P.E.I. is with us at Lunenburg School Of The Arts in its capacity as a nurturing and mentoring arts institution. Laura is currently a student at NSCAD University in the Ceramics Department. She recently competed and won the $10,000 Royal Bank of Canada national RBC Art Competition to create a piece of public art for their new Atlantic headquarters, the RBC Waterside Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Laura has been receiving guidance to build the molds for this piece of work at Lunenburg School Of The Arts. This piece of art will be on permanent display after mid-September 2014. Once again we have been honoured to help Laura in this project and wish her every success in the future.
