PUBLIC TALK ON ARCHITECTURAL FINISHES ON HERITAGE BUILDINGS
Lunenburg Heritage Society & Canadian Conservation Institute
Monday, July 8th, 2024 at 7:00pm. This is a free event, no registration required.

The Lunenburg Heritage Society is excited to host the Canadian Conservation Institute (CCI) to conduct architectural paint and finishes analysis at the Knaut-Rhuland House Museum the week of July 8.

This analysis will identify paint colours and decorative finishes on the building and how they have changed over time. It will inform our work to repair and paint the Knaut-Rhuland House in a historically appropriate manner.

Everyone is invited to a talk by members of the visiting CCI team to learn more about their on-site investigation at the Knaut-Rhuland House and the work of the CCI in the conservation of heritage collections throughout Nova Scotia.
