We survived Winter, now it’s time to survive Spring. Have you ever thought about how it feels to be a tiny delicate seed, emerging as a plant from the soil enriched by your ancestors, feeling the sun and crisp breeze on your skin for the first time? Must be terrifying. Paloma Dawkins spent her three-month residency at the LSA creating in her most beloved medium, 2D animation. ‘Psychic Spring’ explores the grey, the vibrant, and the weirdness of the seasons changing through animation, games, and landscape painting.

Psychic Spring is a project produced by Paloma Dawkins during her 3-month Artist Residency at the Lunenburg School of the Arts in Winter 2022.
