Saturday, December 5
10:00am – 4:00pm

This single day workshop explores making holiday cards using traditional and non-traditional off-the-press printmaking techniques. We will make our own linocut images, take rubbings from seasonally thematic found objects, and explore stamping. It will all be done using water-based ink. At the end of the day participants will take home approximately 10 cards, some may need to dry overnight.

Materials included. No previous experience required.

$50 + $30 for materials

Students should bring:

  • Ideas, designs, or drawings for reference.
  • Anything you think might add an interesting texture or image to your carving, keep in mind that those objects will be covered in ink by the end of the workshop.
