Come and spend the morning creating with clay! In this class, we will be looking at different ways to hand-build functional and sculptural works of art. Through pinching, rolling, extruding and coiling, you will be able to explore the different qualities of clay. We will take time to consider and experiment with surface design & adding textures to the clay surfaces. Come with your own ideas or just show up to be inspired. No experience is needed.

This workshop is eight (three hour) working sessions, plus a one hour pick up on the ninth session.

Students should bring:

  • Apron
  • Water bottle
  • Note book
  • Pen/pencil
  • Old towel
  • Label any personal tools you might bring to use
